TRIPLES

Hole #1 – Straight Up (Par 4, 416 yards): Hole Halved.

Hole #2 – The Spear (Par 5, 577 yards): Tommy Fleetwood with iron off the tee…lays up and finds the fairway. Patrick Cantlay off the tee with driver…just finds the water by an inch! Sahith Theegala for LA’s second with another lay up…perfect. Thomas trying to save the hole…lays up and confirms ATL is playing for par and hoping for a halved hole. Rose from 103… a hair long and they’ll have 15 feet for birdie. Horschel for STL from 84 yards…hits the slope comes back a little and they’ll have about 9 feet for par. Fleet wood for birdie and just leaves it on the high side. Par for LA. Patrick Cantlay for par and the tie…YUP!

Hole #3 – Set in Stone (Par 3, 157 yards): Theegala to tee off on this short par 3…uses the slop and finds the green…15 feet for birdie. Justin Thomas to follow up…long and left and way out of position. ATL will need to get up and down without LA making birdie. Billy Horschel rips it 25 feet over the hole. LA should win this if they don’t three putt. Cantlay 25 footer… leaves it short. That will pretty much concede the hole. LA wins. 1-0 LA!

Hole #4 – Sterling (Par 5, 554 yards): Justin Rose teeing off for LA on this par 5…fades into the fairway easily avoiding the odd fairway long bunker. Horschel to follow up… easily finds the opposite side of the bunker. Fairway. Fleetwood for LA from 247 yards…holds it out right and finds the green side bunker. Cantlay from 240 yards…same shot and finds the same bunker as LA. It will be battle of the short games. Theegala rips it too hard and lands in the opposit bunker as he gets no spin…JT throws the hammer before his bunker shot…LA declines the hammer automatically giving ATL the hole. 1-1!

Hole #5 – Cliffhanger (Par 3, 189 yards): ATL with the tee…Cantlay to kick off the 5th hole…just short of the green. It’ll be a little ship or putt. Fleetwood to follow up…passes the pin and feeds it back to hole…a nice shot leaving LA with a birdie putt. Justin Thomas opting for the putter…17 feet for birdie… just leaves it low of the hole…had a chance though! LA throws the hammer! ATL accepts…LA for two points and the birdie….just lips out! Hole tied. 2 hammers left for each team.

Hole #6 – Loot On The Line (Par 4, 377 yards): Justin Thomas off the tee for LA… hits it out to the right in a sandy area. confused at the result..feels like the simulator may have done him dirty. Sahith to follow up…beauty in the fairway. Advantage LA. Billy Horschel left with with some work from the rough area…calling for it to go…leaves in the green side bunker. Rose from 136… back bunker. The teams will return to another bunker off! LA from the bunker..on the down slope…hated it right away… lands back into the bunker… Justin Thomas throws the hammer and LA declines…ATL up 2-1!

Hole #7 – Fallen Pine (Par 3, 179 yards): ATL to kick off the par 3. Billy Horschel from 179 yards…hangs it out a little right but finds the dance floor. Leaves ATL 24 footer for Birdie. Justin Rose to rebuttal…looks good…sticks it to 9 feet for LA’s birdie. ATL’s Patrick Cantlay with a long 23.11 footer for birdie… good putt but just leaves right of the hole. LA from 9 feet to birdie and tie the hole…Fleetwood sinks it! Game is tied!

Hole #8 – Bluebonnet (Par 4, 312 yards): Tommy Fleetwood off the tee… He aced the par 4 in practice earlier today! Drives the green beautifully 7 feet for eagle. ATL will look to do the same. Cantlay off the tee…just right of the green. Advantage LA. LA throws the hammer greenside! ATL declines. 3-2 LA!

Hole #9 – Bonnie Link (Par 5, 591 yards): Sahith Theegala to kick off the last hole of triples… finds the fairway! Justin Thomas off the tee for ATL…crushes it into the fairway. Justin Rose finds the green on the slope that towards the bunker but holds on! Billy Horschel from 279 yards…pulls it right and stays next to the green side bunker. Cantlay hits it to 7 feet for ATL. Fleetwood for eagle from 19 feet. Misses right but ATL concedes it for Birdie. Justin Thomas from 7.2 feet to tie the hole and avoid going down by 2…sinks it! Game remains 3-2 at the end of triples.

SINGLES

Hole #10 – Serpent (Par 5, 576 yards) – Billy Horschel V Justin Rose: Justin Rose to kick off the singles match versus Horschel…held it out right but did find the fairway. Horschel crushes one but sticks it left and it’s in the rough. Billy will have 278 to the pin from the rough but will attempt to lay up on this par 5. Beauty layup but it rolls into the rough and he is baffled. Rose from the fairway with some wood…going for it in two after the Horschel lay up.. what a shot! rolls it back of the slope and is going to have 15 feet for eagle! Horschel will need some magic. Horschel sticks it close! will have 9 feet for birdie. No gimme though. Justin rose from 15 feet for eagle and the hole… just misses right and ATL concedes for birdie. Horschel for Birdie and the tie…just lips out! LA gets the point. 4-2 LA!

Hole #11 – Alpine (Par 4, 535 yards) – Patrick Cantlay v Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood tees of first for his match and gets the speed slot of the fairway and that is great. Patrick Cantlay looking to do the same… misses the speed slot. Not happy but he’s in the fairway with 239 to the flag. Can he make something of this long second shot on a Par 4…right at it but just bounces short of the green and sticks. 23 feet from there for birdie. Fleetwood to take advantage of his tee shot from 183 yards… sticks it to 5 feet! Cantlay green side looking like he needs to hit it… going with the wedge… just long. LA gives it to ATL. Fleetwood for birdie and to go up 5-2…nails it! 5-2 LA!

Hole #12 – Craic On (Par 3, 151 yards) – Justin Thomas v Sahith Theegala: Theegla to kick off his match…beauty…that will guarantee his par and now ATL needs a really close shot from Justin Thomas…draws into the green side bunker. UH OH. Big trouble for ATL. Justin Thomas from the bunker…needs to hole it really…and it’s close! Thats in for par. Sahith with the 19 foot putt for birdie and the hole…misses left but a great putt. ATL wants to see him putt it…easy money. Hole tied. Match remains 5-2.

Hole #13 – The Plank (Par 4, 302 yards) – Billy Horschel V Justin Rose: Rose to kick off his last hole of the match a drive able par 4 which has been good for LA so far… ATL throws the hammer before the hole so it’s automatically accepted and the hole is worth 2 points. ATL needs this bad. Rose off the tee…over fades it but lands out of bounce and kicks into play. They’ll have a chip. Horschel to drive the green and put the pressure on…almost on the green just short left but will be a good opportunity. Battle of the short game coming now…Rose with a time out to really get more time analyzing his shot. Rose flies it way passed the pin and off the back side of the green! The door is open for ATL! Rose still outside and has to chip again…uses the slop and putts it real close for par. ATL gives the putt to Rose. Horschel to get up and down and win 2 points…uses the slope and does the same…they’ll have him putt it for the 2 points…nails it! 5-4 ATL!

Hole #14 – On The Rocks (Par 3, 135 yards) – Patrick Cantlay v Tommy Fleetwood: Patrick Cantlay to be the first ATL player to start their Head to Head match…Cantlay darts one and sticks it to 2 feet for birdie! UNREAL! ATL is more than back in this game! Fleetwood to answer…hits it a little deep and he’ll have a long one for birdie. LA concedes the birdie putt. Tommy for birdie, to halve the hole and stay in the lead… NAILS IT! HOLY COW! LA IS THE REAL DEAL!

Hole #15 – Quick Draw (Par 5, 714 yards) – Justin Thomas v Sahith Theegala: Justin Thomas to kick off his last head to head ad they need to win to force over time…in the fairway…good start. Sahith to crush ATL’s dreams of overtime… finds the fairway bunker and that gives them a lot of hope on this hole. Theegala from the bunker…smokes it but lands in the green side bunker. What a hot regardless though! JT from 202…hangs it out right he’ll have a chip. Theegala from the bunker…stays in the bunker! uh oh! Sahith to try again…real close but he’ll need to putt it out for par. JT to go up and down and force overtime…hits it short and it sticks to the green side rough… hell ned to hole this in reality…sinks it!! and forces OT!!!!

OVERTIME (41 yards)

1. ATL WINS THE FIRST POINT!

2. Fleetwood holes out to win the point! 1-1

3. Sahith to kick off the deciding closes to the pin…stays up but it’s not crazy close. Patty Ice to win the match… gets over the ridge and they win! ATL successfully completes the comeback!
