Golf Handicap Calculator

Use the handicap calculator to calcualte your handicap.

This is a very simple calculation and does not consider slope or difficulty of the golf courses played. These ratings are assign to each course to help measure handicaps against the course. For example, if you’re playing a very easy course, the handicap system may not give you as many shots as you would get on a much harder course.

The standard handicap calculation will add a multiplier of 0.96 to keep course difficulty into account. Use the calculator below to calculate your handicap!

Manual calculation of your golf handicap

Here is a summary of my last 20 rounds of golf

Once you have your last 20 rounds laid out, select the top 8 rounds. Now we take those 8 rounds and turn them into +/- scoring.

82(+10), 84(+12) , 84(+12), 88(+16), 89(+17), 88(+16), 85(+13), 88(+16)

Now we want to find the average score above/below part of these 8 rounds.

((10+12+12+16+17+16+13+16)/8)=14

Our handicap would be 14!
